I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a delightful stay at Maiensee, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. the location was optimal, with easy access to the ski lifts, making it a haven for snow enthusiasts. the accommodation was comfortable and clean, offering a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. the staff's warm and helpful demeanor added a personal touch to my visit, reflecting the hotel's family-run charm. The dining experience was a highlight, with a wide array of delicious food options, including a standout Saturday meat buffet. While the wellness area was on the smaller side, it was well-maintained and provided a relaxing retreat after a day on the slopes. Maiensee strikes a fine balance between luxury and practicality, making it a solid choice for a weekend getaway or a short ski adventure. For longer stays, guests may find more extensive amenities elsewhere, but for a brief escape, this hotel offers excellent value for the price.
